The ‘BUILD-A-PUPPET’ Kits are designed to introduce a range of mechanisms for creating movement in puppet design.

THE FIRST LIMITED BATCH OF KITS ARE AVAILABLE TO PRE-ORDER FOR SHIPPING IN JUNE 2026.

Each kit has a range of complexity and different capabilities, ranging from simple trigger actions to more complex rotations and multi-joint interactions. The BIRD KIT is the most complex kit in the series.

BIRD KIT
The ‘pull and return’ mechanism for the head and neck uses a similar approach as featured in simpler kits, but the BIRD KIT also introduces folding wing ‘linkages’, a triggered ‘flapping’ wing action and other elements that are most suited to more ambitious makers. It takes about 2-4 hours to build (aside from glue drying). The kit includes all the materials and parts you’ll need, but requires wood glue (or your preferred glue) and and allen/hex keys, spanners.

All parts are laser cut, and packed with a bag of the nuts, bolts, washers and other components required.

SHIPPING TERMS
Shipped kits can only be refunded in cases of faulty parts or failed deliveries. In any other case the cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. Once a return has been received, a full refund is available.
